Ustad Hussainuddin Dagar The youngest son of Allabande Khan trained under his father and his elder brother Nasiruddin Khan and succeeded Allabande Khan as the principal musician of the Alwar court. He was especially renowned for his cultivation of the voice in the lower octave( mandra saptak). Trained many of the next generation of the Dagar family in Merukhand -the 5040 permutations of seven notes, over which he had great mastery. Adopted the hindu name Tansen Pandey.
