Durlabh Bhattacharya

Durlabh Bhattacharya was a renowned pakhavaj players of Bengal. He had learnt from Murari Mohan Gupta, and used to regulary accompany Radhika Prasad Goswami. His accompaniment is said to have been characterised by maintaining a beauty and balance in following the singing. He died in the Pathuriaghata Rajbari after suffering a stroke while playing at a concert there.
